GARFIELD DUNLOP SWORN IN FOR
THIRD CONSECUTIVE TERM

(Queen’s Park, Toronto) – Yesterday at the Ontario Legislature Garfield Dunlop was sworn in as MPP for Simcoe North for the thirty-ninth parliament.
“I am honoured and privileged to once again represent the great people of Simcoe North,” said Dunlop. “I will continue to work hard to ensure that the views and concerns of my constituents are heard in the Ontario Legislature.”
Garfield Dunlop was first elected to the Ontario Legislature in June 1999 and served as the Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Education, and was later appointed to the position of Parliamentary Assistant to the Premier. Since being in Opposition Mr. Dunlop served as the Chief Opposition Whip and is currently the P.C. Critic for Community Safety and Correctional Services.
“I want to thank the people of Simcoe North for showing their confidence in me and for their support over the last eight years,” said Dunlop.
