(Queen's Park) – Simcoe North MPP Garfield Dunlop today congratulated Ontario Realty Corporation (ORC) and SNC-Lavalin ProFac Inc. (ProFac) for receiving an award for excellence in managing the Lincoln M. Alexander Building (OPP General Headquarters) in Orillia.

The two corporations were recently recognized with A Certificate of Excellence Award from the Toronto Chapter of BOMA (Building Owners and Managers Association).

"This is a great example of how the public and private sectors can work together to achieve positive results," said Dunlop. "I congratulate ORC and ProFac for their management teamwork at such a fine facility."

ORC provides a broad range of real estate services on behalf of the Ontario government, including construction project management, facilities management, portfolio management, and asset rationalization. ProFac is the contracted facilities management firm that provides the daily operational services at OPP General Headquarters.

"I am most proud that the OPP General Headquarters facility is located in my riding of Simcoe North," said Dunlop. "It has brought many wonderful people to the region and has resulted in economic spin-offs that contribute to the prosperity of the Orillia area."
